More than a decade has passed since South Africa's first democratic elections, and the country is still finding its way. Freedom has brought a whole new set of challenges.

Unemployment, crime and HIV/AIDS are the top concerns of most South Africans today, and the nation is fast becoming a nation divided by class rather than color. The gap between rich and poor is vast - one of the highest in the world.

This country of 47.9 million people has some incredible, and intimidating ministry opportunities.

  • The unemployment rate is over 25%.
  • They have one of the highest crime rates in the entire world.
  • There are 1.5 million AIDS orphans.
  • 1 out of 4 people has HIV.
  • The average life expectancy in South Africa is only 42 years old.

The great need of the hour, and the only hope for the wonderful people of this country is GOD! Please pray for us as we endeavor to reach the people of South Africa with the love of God, and the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
